The ICA-AP Regional Assembly, which was held in Beijing, China from 1 – 6 September 2010 marked the completion of 50 years of ICA in Asia-Pacific region. There was no better way to promote ICA ExpoCoop 2010 than to participate in such event to create more awareness of the most influential global exhibition for the co-operative sector as well as give maximum visibility to the event in the biggest region of the world.
The 9th Regional Assembly of the ICA set a dynamic platform for the ICA ExpoCoop team to inform delegates of the tradeshow, provide exhibitors with details regarding their participation in the Expo as well as encourage ICA Asian members to showcase their products and services in the event and enjoy an abundance of trading opportunities among co-operatives as well as leading non-cooperative buyers and suppliers.
Already over 80% of space has been sold and the result at the regional assembly was overwhelming with numerous enquiries from co-operatives across the continent. So far, the strongest participation in ICA ExpoCoop 2010 comes from the Asian Continent, as illustrated in the graphic.
However, the ICA ExpoCoop team will continue to inform and invite co-operative members from around the world to participate in the event.
